Nice dive bar and good prices, but I'm pretty this is a gay bar. I liked the arcades game

This is a great, little, college dive bar. Drinks are inexpensive. There are good beers on tap. There are some bar food options. And, the people watching is killer! This is a good "end up" at the end of a day in downtown Charleston.

Great vibe, chill crowd, friendly bartenders, best prices in Charleston. Highly recommended!

Where dreams go to die. Their tater tots are truly gourmet. It's not a dive if it doesn't smell like last nights vomit. I actually really like Rec room.

A warm blanket of positivity. Coldest PBRs, best chicken tenders and honey mustard, newly felted pool table and the most genuine bartenders in the game. Love this bar.

First time here but not the last. A dear friend suggested we stop in this darkish quaint dive (said as a compliment) bar. Bartender Ian ensured the newcomers felt welcome for sure. His pours a nice drink and the beer is cold. The other patrons were very friendly too. When our friend walked in to join us, we realized he is the 'prince of chucktown'. Everyone knows him and hard to believe, we became locals (or so it felt) Now was the real test of any place we go. How are the wings? Well, we decided to share 10 naked with a side of jerk rub (delicious, maybe a hint of clove?) medium wing sauce (hotter next time) and blue cheese & celery. Always order fries too when trying a new place. Very very good. Actually outstanding. Our dinner plans were canceled for later. Everything was so good. Outside seating is available and free parking too. A bit dicey crossing King Street though Positive we'll be going back
